Looking for Signs

We are coming into what always seems to be the hardest part of Winter.  The distraction of the Holiday Season is behind us, and everyone is growing tired of the cold and snow, and are looking for signs of Spring, even though we know it is yet weeks away.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI am usually careful not to catch my shadow in photographs, but I thought this early morning shot was rather interesting.  I can almost imagine myself to be tall! 🙂OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Temperatures edged above freezing this weekend, but did little to rid us of any of the snow.  The ten-day forecast doesn’t offer much hope of another warm-up any time soon, so we will have to be patient.

The trails in the Park have been trodden down enough to make firm footing, so Abbie and I were able to take our walk in the woods this morning.  It made a nice change and kept us sheltered from a cold wind.

When it is this cold it is better when we have blue sky and sunshine. You always have great pictures and dialog. And the violet bud brings beauty to come soon.

    • Thank you. Sunshine does help keep our spirits up as we wait for Spring, (and offers some wonderful photo ops).
