It must be molting season for the Wild Turkeys. Brian found these feathers in our pasture the other day. They visit every day, sometimes more than once, and are becoming less shy.
After two days in the 90’s, the temperature dropped into the thirties last night. Had to switch from AC to heat when we got up this morning, and don a winter coat and gloves for our morning walk. But now it has turned into a perfect September day, sunny and warm, with just a hint of Fall in the air. We will enjoy it until the next drastic change comes along!
Knowing how cold it was going to be last night, I brought my Impatiens into the house. They are very sensitive to cold and they are so pretty, I am not ready to give up on them yet. Thought I had best get some photos of them today, as they may not last much longer.
Sunny is feeling much better, and finished all of her hay last night. We will continue the medications and extra feedings and hope we have seen the last of the vet for the time being.
