Christmas Craziness took over the house and my computer, so I had to take a few days off from the blog. Just as well, as most people were probably too busy to look at it anyway!
Our daughter and her family made it here from Canada, just ahead of our first big snow. I think we got about 6 inches and the granddaughters had a wonderful time playing in it. Like us, they had very little snow last year, so they really enjoyed it. They went home yesterday, and we are busy catching up on laundry and housework.
Time to start thinking about putting away the Christmas decorations. I really had the Christmas Spirit this year and put up more than usual. (Even put up the tree a second time, after the cat knocked it down.) Since I placed it much higher this time, the cat has let it be, but I don’t want to push my luck by leaving it up too long!
Just when we thought the swans were gone for the Season, we spotted them out on the frozen lake on Christmas Eve. If they don’t move South, they will have to find open water somewhere, and there is not much of that around now.
