More From Utah

I brought back so many wonderful photos from our vacation, I decided to devote more than one post to them.  With only four days at the lodge, we could only scratch the surface of the wonderful State and National Parks in the area, but we have vowed to go back.  My daughter and I just fell in love with the place, and enjoyed our time together.

As we were driving to the lodge, we were surprised to see snow-capped mountains in the distance.  We learned they are the La Sal Mountains and are part of the Southern Rockies. They were visible from many of the places we visited, including Arches National Park.

We also visited Dead Horse Point, a State Park just up the road from Arches and it offered some spectacular views.
