March is always a schizophrenic month in Michigan. Yesterday the temperature soared to the mid sixties and today we will be back into the forties. This morning was still unseasonably warm and the Park was full of birdsong. Knowing full well it will not last, we enjoyed this tantalizing taste of Spring.
Spotted some Common Mergansers on the lake. They often show up here during migration, but will be gone before Summer.
Took advantage of the nice day to retake some of the photos I took last Saturday at the Nature Conservancy. I love the way the sunlight was falling through the pines in this shot.
