Winter seems to be making up for lost time and we have had snow almost every day for the last week or so. We had an inch or so on Thursday night and our morning walk was quite magical. Took lots of practice shots, trying to remember what I had learned at Thursday night’s camera class.
We enjoyed a surprise visit from our daughter, who had to come to Michigan to attend a funeral. She spent the night with us Thursday and was able to join us for this lovely walk. The visit was all too short, but we did enjoy it.
I am hoping to head for Canada soon for a long weekend with the Kids and Grandkids, but have to wait for the weather to settle down. It’s a long drive and I don’t want to do it on slippery roads.
Yesterday it snowed for most of the day and we ended up with about 3 inches, and today it has been snowing most of the morning. Not sure how much we will end up with. Temperature is supposed to go up to mid forties on Wednesday, so at least it won’t be here for long!
When we arrived at the Park this morning for our walk, we heard a Bluebird singing. Now that has to be a good sign!
