The Geat Outdoors
Our new barn kittens are doing very well. We kept them apart for a few days, hoping the new one wouldn’t catch Otis’ sneezes. Happily he didn’t, and as soon as we put them together they became fast friends.
Once the horses are turned out for the day, we close up the barn and give them run of it, and yesterday we started letting them venture outside. They are loving it!
I, on the other hand have been hovering over them like a mother hen. We have so much time and effort (not to mention close to $300 in vet fees) invested in them, that I am actually afraid to let them out into the world!
As expected, the weather has taken a turn for the worst. It has been wet and very windy for the last couple days with more of the same forecast. I think this will mark the end of our Fall color. Between the wind and the rain, most of the leaves will be gone soon.
